Better Inebriation Through Chemistry
This sounds like a good new years idea. Now that is good science.
Anyways, i'm just trying to enjoy my last few days of not doing much before classes start again. The storm a couple weeks ago sucked alot because Melissa was out of power for five days and lives in the city too. Happy new years and lets help drive technology even further this year.

Schooooooool's Ouuuutt
I had my last final exam today so I am done with classes until early Jan, yay. My 25th birthday was yesterday too but I didn't have time to really think about it since I had my anthropology exam at 8:30am, then worked for a few hours, then spent the evening with Melissa while worrying about my next exam again at 8:30 am today. The physics exam I just took though won't have any negative impact on my grade, the way the professor had it set up. So I'm guaranteed a 2.5 but I hope I did well enough to boost it a couple points.
On saturday Melissa drove us to the EMP for Paul Allen's Vulcan Holiday Party. We were on the list since I'm temping at the Allen Institute for Brain Science. It was a pretty cool holiday party but I was horribly underdressed, probably one of the only ones there in jeans, even if they were nice jeans. We got to see the sci fi museum and the EMP music part for free after snacking on pasta, cheeses and other meditarrean fare. I also got to use all four of our drink tickets since Melissa was driving so I knocked back two beers and two glasses of wine so I was decently buzzed when we left. Now I gotta try to enjoy the next 3 weeks before it all starts again.

Lameness
Lets see, its just 10am and already the day is crappy, at least I don't have to work. I should have worked yesterday though but I came down with a cold that made me lightheaded and have a sore throat. Then this morning I woke up at 7am to get ready for my last physics mid term, and when getting ready I put back on my left temporary crown that came off saturday and took my vitamins, and accidentally swallowed the plastic crown along with them. I was sort of upset but I had an appointment to get the permanent porcelein ones installed today. So I get back from my exam and check my voicemail to find out that my appointment has to be rescheduled because of the snow and the doctor wasn't supposed to be in. Luckily though, as I was writing this, the dentist office called back and said the doctor would be in to help another patient in pain so I should be able to come in after my english class and get my permanents in finally. I've been waiting awhile to be able to eat pizza and crunchy sandwiches again, stupid crowns. Oh, and rotational kinematics suck.

Experiment Update 1
I've just finished my meal of shrimp sushi and feel quite refreshed and full too from all the rice involved. It was very tasty with the little packets of ginger, soy sauce and wasabi, the last which I applied only sparsely as it was very strong. I don't feel any negative effects or indigestion as of yet. Further information will follow.
Experiment in nutritional supplements
I have been a vegetarian for almost twelve years I believe, since 8th grade. The first two years however I hadn't gave up fish yet, but the last ten years I have been wholly meat free. Today I will conduct an experiment on myself to see how well I can handle and digest a serving of shrimp sushi procured from Trader Joes. I am about to sit down now to enjoy it with a cold bottle of sunny delight and a glass of ice water. I couldn't find sake at safeway and didn't feel like buying a sapporo or something else apropo. Results will be forthcoming.

Full Episode: The Papdits
Watch the full pilot episode of "The Papdits". "A docu-comedy about a family from Kashmir and the humorous interactions they have with unsuspecting Americans."
This show is pretty good, it feels similar to Borat since the writer was also a cowriter for Da Ali G show and the Borat movie.

Drunk
I just got back from Brandon's birthday party and am fairly buzzed from the keg since I don't often drink much more than a beer with dinner so it feels pretty nice right now. A nice level of things seeming out of place, dimensions shifted and so on. Brandon;'s bands Dateless and 123 Fake Street played and behind Brandon's drumming there was a 10 ft tall Borat standup. You just cant get away from that guy right now. That is pretty much it for now. Classes have been going fairly well, I have 2 midterms this week so I better get my physics down and remember all my primate paleontology for anthropology.
